MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Trinity Hospital is hosting a series of events designed to help those on a budget.

The first segment of this series is called “Shopping on a Budget,” where a dietitian will walk you through the grocery store and show you affordable options, while also giving you money-saving tips for the grocery store.

“Well, in general, it’s important to know about food and what our body needs and all the different food groups and, as a lot of people find out when they try to make some changes, sometimes it can feel much more costly,” said Trinity Health Clinical Dietitian Kayla Cole.

STATEN ISLAND, NY — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to locate a man sought for questioning in connection with reported thefts of pocketbooks and wallets left unattended by women shopping at popular malls on Staten Island.

Designer purses and wallets allegedly were stolen from a stroller, a senior’s walker and shopping carts in the brazen incidents that occurred during daytime hours. Credit cards pilfered from two women were used to make illegal purchases, according to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.

Police identified a grand-larceny pattern for the four incidents in July and August in New Dorp in the 122nd Precinct and New Springville in the 121st Precinct.
